The Deutsche Post DHL Group has been named a Top Employer in Europe for the first time. DHL Express, DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain, DHL Freight, and DHL eCommerce Solutions have retained their Top Employer Global designation, putting them among the finest employers in the world.
"It is our people who create the difference in our business. We can provide market-leading service quality because of our devoted and dedicated workers. This external certification verifies that we are on the right route, for example, with our employee engagement tools," says Thomas Ogilvie, Group Board Member for HR at Deutsche Post DHL.
The Top Employers Institute emphasized the relevance of ethics, honesty, and business strategy across all divisions in the assessment. DPDHL Group also distinguished itself by clearly defining and effectively communicating its goals and values to its workers. The company's accomplishments in management and staff development were lauded, as was the company's emphasis on sustainability. Smart Connect, an employee app, was also singled out for special recognition by the Top Employers Institute. Smart Connect is a component of Smart Workspace. This 2022-launched complete digital mobile platform allows all employees in all countries to communicate with one another, access information, and benefit from digital training possibilities.
Several Deutsche Post DHL Group divisions have won extra recognition for their quality as employers in 2022, in addition to the Top Employer designation. DHL Express was awarded the world's top employer in 2022 for the second year in running in the "Great Place to Work" rating in collaboration with Fortune Magazine. In the same year, DHL Global Forwarding, Freight won seven Stevie Awards in the "Stevie Awards for Great Employers" - two of them gold in 'Leadership Development for Women.'
Deutsche Post DHL Group is one of the world's largest employers, with 590,000 people across five divisions in 220 countries. Top Employers certification has been granted to 70 nations.
