Small automobiles from the Stellantis brand are favored by German car buyers for their safety, cleanliness, and affordability. Stellantis is making its vision of a new era of technologically advanced mobility independence a reality by offering various popular models in the small car segments.

With over 52,000 new registrations in 2022, the Fiat 500e is by far the most popular car in the compact sector, according to Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) data. Last year, Fiat 500e was ranked as the third most popular electric vehicle in Germany.

With almost 50,000 new cars delivered, the Opel Corsa electric car is the best-selling small car with a combustion engine and in its battery-electric model. After SUVs and the small class, Peugeot with the 208, Citron with the C3, and DS Automobiles with the DS 3 are also represented in the largest segment according to KBA figures. The Stellantis brand vehicles, which are increasingly ordered in their pure electric version, account for over 22 percent of Germany's 329,000 sales of compact cars.

In addition, Stellantis registered over 60,000 new compact models that the KBA assigns to other sectors, such as the Opel Crossland, Opel Mokka, and Peugeot 2008 for SUVs and the Jeep Renegade for off-road vehicles.

The Stellantis brands continue to rely on a comprehensive portfolio, as they have a viable offering in each of the thirteen KBA segments. The DS 3 E-Tense, Opel Mokka Electric, and Peugeot e-208 will each have a range of 400 kilometers beginning this year.
